To be clear, monsters are not huge fans of fire. However, even the most flammable of monsters will brave a close flame in favor of a backyard barbecue or cookout.
Cookouts appeal to the carnivorous nature of all goblins, ghouls, and reanimated corpses. There’s no sound more appetizing than the sizzle and pop of meat fat melting over an open flame. Yumm!
More than anything, monsters enjoy serving their guests mystery meats disguised as family-friendly meals. After all, who really knows what goes into a hot dog? And Sloppy Joes – maybe if Joe weren’t so sloppy with his work in the SML Haunted Mansion’s blog laboratory, he wouldn’t have ended up on the menu.
